PWERKS 1,3,5 gear shift extension lengthens the 1st, 3rd and 5th gear shift by 20% over stock. Eliminates 1st, 3rd and 5th gear grinding and pop-out for good!
R&D has shown that due to differing manufacturing tolerances inside the SRT-4 transmission the synchro is not fully engaging the gear itself in many transmissions. Only engaging sometimes half way onto the gear causes grinding and pop-out on both upshift and downshift. Even when replacing the synchro and gear itself makes no change, our little unit is the cure!
