Description
Introducing the Lower Hard Pipe for the SRT-4. This piece replaces the factory rubber hose that goes from the hot side charge pipe to the inlet of the intercooler.
The LHP comes with a high polished aluminum tube with beaded ends along with all necessary hose clamps and 4 ply silicone connectors for a perfect fit.
These pipes are made of .0625 16ga. 6061 aluminum tubing for the best balance of lightweight and strength. We do not include or recommend t-bolt clamps in this application for two reasons:
1. T-Bolt clamps are too wide to fit over the tight areas of the throttle body and won't properly sit behind the bead on the tube.
2. T-Bolt clamps are not recommended for aluminum tubing as users tend to over-tighten and crush the tubing.
This kits include high quality worm gear clamps that we use on every application including high boost diesel. They will not fail if used properly and these pipes and silicone couplers will never leak. You do not need to order any additional items with this. products
