Delete the OEM tensioner, converts your alternator to be the adjustment point. Benefits are 2.2lbs lighter, less belt drag, and no more throwing belts form the OEM auto tensioner spring that becomes week and opens up under high RPM “mainly for higher HP/revving cars.
Comes with the new tensioner arm, 3 OEM correctly sized bolts and an *optional* new belt.
EvoSpec only uses Gates racing belts. They have most configurations so all we need to know is what pulleys are left on the car and a proper belt will be provided.
PLEASE add note of what pulleys are on your Evo 4/5/6/7/8/9 to receive the correct belt when placing your order. You will be able to add notes during checkout.
Please keep in mind we will send the belt sized for your application the best we can. Belts can very from one to the next and may or may not fit as described. Also improper installation or tension can cause a belt failure. we are not responsible for those failures.
