Introducing the SP Tuning Variable TPS Adapter Harness for the 1990-1993 Mazda Miata equipped with the 1.6L engine.
The early 1.6L engine found in the mazda miata carries a TPS that is more-so and "on/off" switch instead of allowing a 0-100% throttle range thus making some tuning solutions a little more difficult than necessary. The use of a variable TPS will allow you have a full 0-100% throttle range in your ECU and help with accelaration enrichment as well as many other little things in your tune. This adapter harness is 100% plug-and-play with your OEM harness to save you the headache of needing to re-pin your current throttle body connector. It is likely that with old age, your current connector could be damaged by trying to re-pin without proper tooling.
This adapter harness will also come with a necessary jumper to install inside the ECU to active the VTPS so that you can calibrate yout throttle positioning.
