Introducing the SP Tuning Track-Style Battery Relocation Kit for the Mitusbishi Evo 7/8/9.
Our battery kit allows for the relocation of the battery to the rear trunk compartment thus allowing the use of a wider range of intercooler piping sizing and routing with ease. In order to pass NHRA tech at a track with a non-factory rear mounted battery a killswitch is a necessity so we have designed this kit around that rule and incorporated the use of a Moroso battery quick disconnect to directly kill the power upon switching the lever that will be mounted on the rear bumper next to the license plate. On USDM models withn the USDM rear bumper equipped with the rear crash bar, som elsight modification is necessary to the lower portion of the crash bar. A small rectangle will need to be cut off in order to clear the bulky back of the Moroso switch (others may work without modification but have not yet been tested).
